We are a trusted partner of Converteam GmbH in the modernization and new construction of tandem mills, strip treatment systems, inspection lines, and skin pass mills. On their behalf, we have implemented database-driven dialogs for process control computers (so-calledLevel 2 dialogs) for numerous end customers.

We have been working together continuously since 2005.

In collaboration with the customer, a requirements specification and a detailed screen layout are created. Oracle Forms and Java are used to develop dialog boxes for the control stations at the inlet, outlet, and control room. These dialog boxes are used to control and edit the inlet and outlet sequence, the setup and pass plan calculations, and the roll data. Communication with the production planning system (Level 3) and the Level 1 system, which is used to operate and monitor the plant, utilizes database-based telegrams.

The scope of the projects includes the creation of manuals, system training, documentation, and, in some cases, database administration.

During system commissioning and optimization, one of our employees is always on site to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
