ScaleAgData project

Scalable agricultural sensor data for improved monitoring of agri-environmental conditions.

Project description:

As part of the ScaleAgData project aims to gain insights into how complex data streams should be managed and organized in the context of agricultural environmental monitoring. Data technologies will be developed that are required to scale the data collected at farm level to regional datasets for the management of agricultural production.

Goals and objectives:

ScaleAgData aims at upscaling locally collected agricultural data and gaining insights into the management of complex data streams. It is implemented by developing innovations in sensor technology, data analytics and EO products for pan-European monitoring of environmental conditions in agriculture in 6 different application fields.

The role of OHB-DS:

Support in the integration and provision of EO data, investigation of the utilization potential of the new EnMap mission and the integration of time series of meteorological data. In addition, OHB DS is managing the technical implementation of forecasting models for specific parameters in the dairy industry in the Sustain Dairy Lab.
