TheScaleAgData projectaims to gain insights into how complex data streams should be managed and organized in the context of agricultural environmental monitoring. The project aims to develop the data technologies necessary for scaling data collected at the farm level into regional datasets for agricultural production management.

Goals and Objectives:

ScaleAgData aims to scale up locally collected agricultural data and gain insights into the management of complex data streams. This is achieved through the development of innovations in sensor technology, data analysis, and Earth Observation (EO) products for Europe-wide monitoring of environmental conditions in agriculture across six different application areas.

The role of OHB-DS:

Support for the integration and provision of EO data, an assessment of the potential applications of the new EnMap mission, and the integration of time series of meteorological data. In addition, OHB DS is leading the technical implementation of forecasting models for specific parameters in the dairy industry at the Sustain Dairy Lab.
