How data visualization and process optimization have improved operations.

Customer Benefits

As a medium-sized family business, Delmenhorster Kork-Fabrik Arthur Linck GmbH has established itself in the beverage industry for over 90 years. At a time when innovations follow one another in quick succession, conventional and long-term planning is reaching its limits. In order to make the evaluation of data more efficient - or even automatic - the customer saw the opportunity to achieve precisely this in a collaboration with OHB Digital Services.

“Thanks to our successful collaboration with OHB Digital Services GmbH, we have been able to improve quality and efficiency through cloud-based data analysis and visualization. We are very satisfied with the targeted programming and support.”

Previously, manual database analyses had become increasingly time-consuming. Initially, the customer’s requirements were limited to being able to retrieve production figures much more easily and efficiently.

The application developed through this collaboration, which utilizes Microsoft Power BI technology, displays in a clearly structured interface which machine produced how many products for which customer. It is an application that easily distinguishes between days, machines, shifts, and production runs, visualizing them in a clear and consistent design.

In addition, database reports can now be generated not only automatically but also accessed at any time on mobile and desktop devices.

“You don’t need to have IT problems to be able to provide valuable IT solutions to customers.”

For us, this new partnership marks the first step in a forward-looking and ongoing collaboration that is open to all areas of software development.
