Support for the development of the ground segment for SAR-Lupe

OHB System is establishing an interface between the German satellite reconnaissance system and the French FSLGS ground station – providing the highest-resolution radar images from archive systems using software from OHB DS.

High degree of automation

  • The end user can request the data (with a longer turnaround time, if necessary) and cannot tell whether the data is stored in a high-availability section or a long-term storage archive

  • Fully automated storage of image data (transition from image data capture to storage)

  • Automation of archiving from a private cloud to offline storage via robot-controlled transfer to DVD or tape

International teamwork in a highly regulated field

With a team of more than 10 software developers, we were able to advance this international project by leveraging our expertise in software development. To this end, OHB Digital Services developed innovative software that serves as the interface between SAR-Lupe and the FSLGS.
