Labels on goods are often not very weather-resistant and are barely scannable after some time. On top of that, scanning the goods before each movement is very time-consuming. With the OHB LogTwin, this is a thing of the past. The goods only need to be scanned once on receipt and assigned a location. The goods are then stored in our fully digital ecosystem. Thanks to very precise vehicle positioning with a deviation of just a few millimetres, the goods are clearly identified in the system with every movement and the position changes fully automatically during transport - no more scanning is necessary. All means of transportation can be integrated: cranes, trucks, wagons, forklifts and many more. Storage areas can be flexibly created and dynamically modified in the system without a programmer and automated periodic pre-planning makes planning storage scenarios a pleasure. A huge time saving and a gain in convenience and safety.
Many logistics systems and warehouse management systems are very fragmented. Hardly any software covers all of a company's use cases. Several programs always have to be integrated. With OHB LogTwin, the customer's entire logistics chain can be mapped and applied to all types of goods. High-precision goods location, a constant overview of the different types of goods and a permanent inventory help to maintain an overview of the warehouse, optimize goods movements and reorder goods in good time. The system even recognizes transfers from indoor storage to outdoor storage and vice versa fully automatically and enables a seamless transition. The picking of consignments is also mapped via the system. LogTwin is the one-stop store solution for your intralogistics.
Handling companies of all kinds juggle a variety of different goods in very large quantities every day in often very extensive storage areas. Many of these goods are difficult to keep apart, which results in long search times. In the OHB LogTwin system, all goods are just a mouse click away. Search times are a thing of the past and the integration into our forklift guidance system enables precise and, depending on the situation, automatic placement of transport orders for a considerable increase in efficiency in intralogistics.
Airports are areas with particularly strict safety regulations due to the high risk of accidents. As few people as possible should be on the field at all times. Our fully digital twin helps to reduce the number of people on the field in connection with intralogistics and at the same time create more safety. This is achieved, for example, by automatically guiding vehicles along defined routes - in the future also autonomously. The location of goods is transparent at all times. Our security system, which uses camera data, GNSS trackers and computer vision algorithms to identify people who are on the tarmac without authorization, also helps to further increase security through transparency.
Managing transports over longer distances? No problem for the LogTwin - whether by rail or road. Thanks to multiple redundant GNSS receivers on the means of transport, goods can be tracked in real time anywhere in the world. The handover of the load to the customer is also significantly simplified by an automatic inventory of the load. Furthermore, the customer receives a dashboard where he can see where the goods are at any time and is shown a constantly updated ETA, taking into account various environmental data.
Construction sites, and large construction sites in particular, can quickly become very confusing. Many different types of goods are placed on the site and the site management has the challenge of keeping track of the location of each item and ordering it to its place of use in good time. This task is greatly simplified with the OHB LogTwin, as goods can no longer get lost and individual transport orders can be created at any time. Even several locations can be mapped simultaneously in LogTwin. This is rounded off by a tidy and intuitive user interface.
LogTwin is flexible in terms of goods characteristics, only requires an initial goods entry including all parameters in the incoming goods department and then adapts entirely to the user's restriction requirements
After goods receipt entry, all item and movement postings are made in LogTwin's closed ecosystem without the need for any additional stickers or labels. This reduces the rate of incorrect bookings to zero and the position of the goods is always known.
If different goods make up a large part of the total turnover at different times, LogTwin offers individual storage area planning, which can also be simulated for the future in order to then "activate" them. At the same time, storage areas can be adjusted at any time with a simple mouse click, without the need for further programming.
