Project description:

CGI-CZ is conducting the study "Copernicus Demonstrators Lot2 - Consumer and Environment", which is funded by the European Union Agency for Space Program (EUSPA). The project analyzes and evaluates the technical feasibility of innovative demonstration concepts in five areas: Fisheries and aquaculture, digital tourism and cultural heritage, insurance and finance, forest vegetation health monitoring and green mining and energy.

The role of OHB-DS:

Conducting an analysis for a proof of concept (PoC) to monitor the condition of forest vegetation. In addition to assessing technical feasibility, the project included a detailed benefits analysis, including a clear definition of the advantages and added value that Copernicus data provide within the scope of the PoC. Recommendations for implementation were derived from the results of the analysis.
